Since last year’s Dasgupta Review, the investment industry has started to wake up to the urgent action needed to tackle the imminent threat of biodiversity.

With this in mind and to coincide with International Day for Biological Diversity (22 May) and the UN’s World Bee Day (20 May), biodiversity and nature-related capital are strong themes for next issue of ESG Clarity’s digital magazine.

We have exclusive video and written interviews with Rathbone Greenbank Investments’ John David, discussing the firm’s plans to “pioneer” in this space, and Dr Vian Sharif talks about her work as head of sustainability at FNZ and as a member of the Taskforce for Nature-Related Disclosures.

We also have comments on the topic from the UNCDF, charities, asset managers and industry bodies and an educational piece for our ESG Clarity Intelligence page.

May’s issue also features fund analysis from Morningstar, a reflection on a year since ESG Clarity and Last Word Research launched the Responsible Ratings Index, an interview with Baillie Gifford’s retiring partner Charles Plowden, and special coverage of the industry’s participation in No Mow May.

We hope you look forward to reading these insightful comments and features. The magazine will published at the end of May, so in the meantime, happy World Bee Day!
