Reuters Next summit announced for January

Reuters is inviting ESG Clarity readers to a four-day global summit in January with the theme of ‘building back better’.

Taking place 11 to 14th January 2021, Reuters Next will deliver the Rethink, Rebuild, Recover; A New Vision For A Better Tomorrow summit for over 25,000 financial professionals from all over the world.

It will explore topics such as global trade, climate change and sustainability, what’s next following the US election and the impact of Brexit, new work models, press freedom, and economic recovery from the Covid crisis through a blend of fireside chats, presentations, panel discussions and networking.

European Central Bank president Christine Lagarde, Sandeep Mathrani, CEO of WeWork,  activist and businessman Bobi Wine, Kristin Peck, CEO of Zoetis, Shan Weijian, chairman and CEO of PAG Group, and Chevron CEO Mike Wirth are among the line-up of speakers so far, as are Dr Reza Baqir, governor, of the State Bank Pakistan,  Ilarion Merculieff, president of Global Center for Indigenous Leadership and Lifeways; Dr Pandu Riono, epidemiologist & senior staff at University of Indonesia, Faculty of Public Health, and Fola Fagbule, senior vice president of the Africa Finance Corporation.
