Exposure to emerging technologies can be a benefit of thematic funds, Rene Reyna, head of thematic and specialty product strategy for ETFs at Invesco tells ESG Clarity in this video, but the flipside of this is volatility, especially as many of these are smaller companies.

Continuing the conversation on thematics from the Global ESG Summit, Reyna talks about engaging clients’ values and how thematics can tap into broader macro trends.

His advice to clients is to “be patient”, especially during times of inflation, as scalability will improve.
