ESG Clarity presents the winners of the Asia edition of our ESG Clarity House Awards 2022

ESG Clarity is delighted to reveal the winners of the 2022 House Awards recognising the best in ESG innovation, initiatives and investment houses and teams.

The House Awards are based on pitch submissions from the asset management community, in which fund managers had to convince the editorial judges of their credentials in one or more of the chosen categories.

Winners not only have proven that they are leaders in the category they submitted for, but have also shown dedication to further step-up their efforts in improving their ESG integration and capabilities.

Nicole Lim, Investment Analyst – ESG, Fixed Income, abrdn

Nicole is the on-desk ESG Investment Analyst on the Asian Fixed Income team at abrdn. She supports ESG integration through bottom-up research, engagement, and contributing to ESG considerations in portfolio construction. Prior to this, Nicole was a sustainability consultant where she worked with various organisations on strategically embedding sustainability into management practices, with a focus on emissions reductions and carbon strategy. Nicole also has a background in climate science and environmental research.

David Smith, senior investment director at abrdn, leads ESG research and integration across Asia. He heads the Asia Responsible Investing pod, which manages the Asian Sustainable Development Equity Strategy. He is also responsible for leading engagement with board members and management of abrdn investee companies in Asia. David is a CFA Charterholder.
