M&G’s Constable-Maxwell: The industry is shifting focus onto positive outcomes

M&G head of sustainable and impact investing discusses ESG integration, industry development and challenges for the future

At almost 100 years old, M&G Investments has decades of experience in active ownership and stewardship, and akin to many fund groups it has pivoted its efforts on integrating ESG across its range during the past five years, initiating a formal process of 100% ESG integration in 2013.

Despite making much progress in that short space of time, the group wants to go further, according to Ben Constable-Maxwell, head of sustainable and impact investing at the firm.

In this interview with ESG Clarity Constable-Maxwell discusses ESG integration, industry development and challenges for the future.
