ESG Clarity is delighted to announce the next expert in our the live Twitter Q&A series is Professor Ioannis Ioannou, from the London Business School.
Professor Iaannou will be taking ESG Clarity’s readers’ questions live on Twitter for an hour at 10:00 am EST on Sept. 23.
He is currently associate professor of strategy and entrepreneurship at London Business School and a visiting associate professor in the Department of Management at Miami Herbert Business School at the University of Miami.
Professor Ioannou is considered a leading authority on how companies can integrate ESG factors into their processes and structures and how the investment community perceives, evaluates and reacts to such corporate attempts to integrate ESG.
He graduated magna cum laude from Yale University, majoring in Economics and Mathematics and holds a PhD in business economics from Harvard University and the Harvard Business School. His work is regularly published in academic journals and it is said he is by far the most highly cited strategy scholar amongst his graduating cohort.
He also regularly ranks in the top 100 of authors on the social science research network (SSRN) and holds a number of advisory roles including being a member of the ESG Advisory Board of the DWS, a member of the Sustainability Advisory Panel of Merck KGaA, a member of the World Economic Forum Experts Network specialising in Sustainable Development, and a member of the Advisory Board of AXS Investments Institute for Sustainable Investing.
In further recognition of his work, Professor Ioannou has been shortlisted for the Future Thinker Award of Thinkers50, the first-ever global ranking of management thinkers whose mission is to recognize ideas that have the power to change the world.
Professsor Ioannou has also recently launched a six-week online course on Sustainability Leadership and Corporate Responsibility.
He is able to answer readers’ questions on:
