Janus Henderson has launched a US sustainable equity fund for UK retail, wholesale and institutional investors.

The Janus Henderson US Sustainable Equity Fund OEIC will be managed by head of global sustainable equities Hamish Chamberlayne (pictured) and portfolio manager Aaron Scully.

Chamberlayne said: “This new fund will be managed with the same themes, investment team, avoidance criteria, and fundamental research as the Global Sustainable Equity Fund and, like the GSE, climate risks are a key consideration for the fund, and the fund selects companies aligned to low-carbon initiatives, for example cleaner energy.

“Our new fund is launching to take advantage of the opportunities we see in the US market associated with sustainable investment trends, and recent regulatory changes that promote clean technologies, reshoring and economic resilience.”
