In this episode of the Green Dream, the video series where ESG Clarity interviews key figureheads in the responsible investment world to get their views on the latest trends, news and movements in this evolving landscape, Natalie Kenway speaks to Sophie Lawrence, senior ethical, sustainable and impact researcher for Rathbone Greenbank Investments.

Lawrence discusses how the firm tackled the pandemic in 2020, while also growing its impact investment portfolio and expanding its climate-aligned approach.

When asked about key trends in responsible investment, Lawrence pointed to biodiversity and why Rathbone Greenbank feels this need much more focus from investors. She highlights most businesses will be impacted by the alarming deterioration we are seeing in the populations of a high number of species, either directly or through their supply chains.
