City Hive launches Fearless Woman campaign

Supported by ESG Clarity, the campaign will highlight women’s involvement in investing over the past 50 years, and where progress is needed

ESG Clarity, What Investment and DiversityQ are delighted to support the City Hive campaign Fearless Woman to celebrate 50 years of women investing in the UK.

On 23 March 1973, women were admitted to the London Stock Exchange for the first time in its 200-year history.

To celebrate the progress made within the investment industry since then, and to examine how far it still has to go in order to achieve true equality, City Hive will be releasing videos and blogs for the Fearless Woman campaign over the next 12 months.

It will also be underpinned by a call to action for real cultural change among corporates on diversity and inclusion.

See the above video kicking off the campaign, highlighting the attitudes towards women entering the London Stock Exchange for the first time.

Investment management firms Asset Co, Aviva investors, Blue Bay Asset Management, Capital Group, Federated Hermes, Lombard Odier, Schroders and The Big Exchange are all collaborating with City Hive on the Fearless Woman campaign.
